The Federal Authority for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) in the United Arab Emirates recently doubled the application price for a six-month entry permit required to apply for a ten-year golden visa (UAE).
The revised figure, now AED 1,250, includes several additional costs, including AED 1,000 for the issue, AED 22 for ICP fees, AED 28 for e-services, AED 100 for the application, and AED 100 for smart services.
Eligibility for:
International Investors
- For this 10-year visa, applicants must have public investments totaling at least AED 10 million, either in the form of a corporation or an investment fund.
- Business partners will receive 10-year visas from the government if they donate AED 10 million each.
- Candidates for a 5-year visa, however, must have at least AED 5 million.
- The invested funds should not be lent throughout the three-year holding period by the investor.
- All assets must have sole ownership by individuals. Furthermore, only 60% of the capital may be used on real estate.
- Long-term UAE golden visas are granted to the holder’s spouse, children, one chief executive director, and an advisor.
People with Exclusive Talent
- Holders of specialised skill may apply for a 10-year “golden visa” to the UAE. They will be eligible to apply for the visa only after acquiring accreditation from their numerous departments and fields.
- Scientists must be accredited by the UAE Science Council or have the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Scientific Merit. Creativity in culture and art requires accreditation from the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
- A criterion for candidates is a teacher from one of the 500 international universities acknowledged by the Ministry of Education.
- In order to practice medicine, doctors must have 20 years of clinical experience.
- This visa will also be issued to the partners and children of these people.
Real Estate Investors Eligible for UAE Golden Visa Entry Permit
- Similar standards apply to real estate investors and other categories of investors. Nonetheless, they are qualified to apply for a visa that lasts for 5 years and must make a 5 million AED investment.

- The secondary school average for outstanding students must be at least 95% in both private and public schools.

- Step 1: Visit the official website of the ICA.

- Pay the service fee in step four. Before completing the application process successfully, people must wait for authorization.
- The ICA will have entry permit (with a validity of 6 months) and be able to extend it for an additional 6 months in order to finish the process of gaining golden residency in the country if applicants are arriving from outside the UAE.
