Two new additions that will improve the usability of WhatsApp are about to be released. A contact can be blocked directly from the message notification pop-up in the first feature, while separate tabs are provided for capturing images and recording videos inside the app in the second.
Currently, blocking someone on WhatsApp requires opening the app, choosing the chat, tapping the contact information, and then choosing the option to block the contact. Because some individuals might find the procedure cumbersome, WhatsApp is aiming to provide a choice to block a contact directly from the pop-up notification of an unpleasant message. This will make blocking contacts simpler.
