ICTP launches crackdown against unregistered vehicles

In the federal capital, the Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has started a campaign to catch unregistered vehicles.

Details show that the ICT police fined 8,951 unregistered cars, lorries, and motorcycles in the current year 2022.

Special enforcement squads have been formed to inspect the unregistered automobiles that are on the roads.

SSP Traffic Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer is the campaign’s coordinator. It was launched on the orders of Inspector-General of the Islamabad Police, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.

The Islamabad Capital Territory Police also busted several dacoity incidents that took place in the Sabzi Mandi Police areas.

A police team from Sabzi Mandi Police Station used the most up-to-date technology and human resources to capture three members of a dacoit gang who were involved in several incidents of snatching and street crimes.

Munir Ahmed, Muhammad Shafiq, and Raja Zahoor were the defendants.

Police also discovered a motorbike, three 30-bore handguns, and a dagger that were used in these lewd incidents.

During the preliminary investigation, the suspects acknowledged their involvement in dacoity incidents in the Sabzi Mandi districts.
