On Wednesday, the T20I rankings were announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Babar Azam, the all-format captain for Pakistan, has kept the top spot in the rankings. With 818 points, he has the highest rating.
Babar hasn’t played T20I since April, but his regular performances in the format have helped him keep a competitive edge over other players.
Suryakumar Yadav of India is in second place overall with 805 points. He was only two points behind Babar last week when he had 816 points. Mohammed Rizwan, another Pakistani golfer, is ranked third overall in the top 10 with 794 points.
Babar is still the only batter in the world who is ranked in the top five in each of the game’s three versions. In ODIs and T20I, Babar is ranked #1, and in Tests, he is third.
