Toyota cuts down car prices

After the Pakistani rupee made a stunning recovery against the US dollar, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) announced a drop in car prices.

It is important to note that Toyota had hiked car pricing up to Rs3.16 million.

The following is a list of the most recent Completely Knocked Down (CKD) car pricing offered by Toyota:

The cost of Corolla versions was reduced by between Rs330,000 and Rs440,000 by the automaker. The cost of the Corolla 1.6 manual model dropped from Rs4.899 million to Rs4.569 million, a reduction of Rs330,000. The Corolla 1.6 automatic variant is currently available for Rs4.789 million after a discount of Rs350,00.

Similar price cuts were achieved for the Yaris versions, which saw reductions ranging from Rs260,000 to Rs310,000. In the aforementioned category, the Yaris 1.5 CVT had the highest price cut, dropping by Rs310,000 to a new price of Rs4.259 million from its prior price of Rs4.569 million.

The pricing for the Fortuner models was also cut by IMC by between Rs. 910,000 and Rs. 1.14 million.

The Toyota Fortuner Lo Petrol model is currently being offered for Rs11.579 million, a decrease of Rs910,000. The price of the Fortuner Diesel Legender model dropped from Rs15.839 million to Rs14.69 million.
