The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on December 25 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
An official notification confirming the holiday was issued on Friday. Additionally, December 26 has been declared a holiday for Christian employees to observe Christmas.
The nation celebrates Quaid-e-Azam’s birth anniversary every year with immense respect and enthusiasm. The day will begin with ceremonial gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals.

A dignified changing of the guards ceremony will follow at the Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi.
Across the country, various official events and ceremonies are planned to honor Jinnah’s monumental contributions, his political struggles, and his pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan.
In addition to government-led initiatives, social, political, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have organized special programs to pay tribute to the Quaid’s legacy. These events will highlight his vision, leadership, and dedication to the nation.
