The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out a revamped version of its Pak-ID mobile app, adding several new features to simplify identity-related services for citizens.
The updated app introduces real-time ID tracking, facial biometric verification at the start of the application process, and an improved user interface for better navigation. Users can now also view family member records without requiring biometric verification and book appointments at NADRA centers directly through the app.

According to NADRA, these upgrades are part of an ongoing effort to digitize and streamline public services. The authority said the app allows users to complete important tasks from home, saving time and avoiding long waits at service centers.
A NADRA spokesperson said the new version reflects the agency’s commitment to enhancing the citizen experience through technology. Citizens are encouraged to update the app immediately to benefit from the latest features.
Previously, NADRA also introduced an in-app fee payment system that allows both local and overseas Pakistanis to pay for services such as Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC) without visiting a NADRA office.
The Pak-ID app is available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
