In a recent interview with The Lallantop, actress Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about a bizarre rumor that linked her to former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq.
The speculation, which went viral in 2020, claimed the two were secretly married. Tamannaah, speaking with humor and honesty, called the rumor both “embarrassing and absurd.”

She explained the origin likely stemmed from a public appearance they made together at a jewelry store launch. “According to the internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq. I’m sorry sir—you have two or three children,” she joked. “It was so embarrassing.”
Tamannaah also addressed being linked to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, saying, “I feel so bad because I literally met him only once. I have never met him again after that.”
She expressed discomfort with media-driven stories that have no basis in reality. “It’s very awkward when you’re linked to someone you’ve never had any connection with.”
The actress admitted that time helps deal with such rumors. “It takes time, but you accept that you can’t control it.” She also shared that she googles herself to stay aware of public perception, emphasizing the importance of audience feedback in her career.
“It has to mean something in someone’s life,” she said, highlighting the purpose behind her work.
