Tajikistan Announces Good News for Pakistani Visa Seekers

Tajikistan has officially launched a visa section at its Consulate General in Karachi, marking a significant step forward in strengthening ties with Pakistan. The upgraded Consulate General now offers visa services for Pakistanis planning to visit Tajikistan.

The new visa facility was inaugurated during a ceremony by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, with Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, and other diplomats in attendance.

Initially, a visa consular has been appointed to process applications, with plans to expand staffing based on demand. Governor Tessori expressed optimism that the initiative would simplify the visa process for Pakistanis, promoting tourism and fostering closer relations between the two nations.

He congratulated Ambassador Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir on this development, calling it a key milestone in Pak-Tajik relations and reaffirming both countries’ commitment to regional prosperity and growth.

Ambassador Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir reiterated Tajikistan’s dedication to Pakistan’s development and regional collaboration.

Additionally, FPCCI Energy Standing Committee Convener Malik Khuda Bakhsh commended the initiative, highlighting its potential to facilitate business travel and enhance trade between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

The visa section is expected to benefit both the general public and the business community, fostering greater cooperation between the two nations.
