This announcement follows the federal government’s declaration of a three-day public holiday for Eid ul Adha.
This break will be extended by the weekend preceding the holiday, as Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, are already public holidays.
Earlier, the Cabinet Division had submitted a summary to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, proposing the three-day Eid holidays from June 17 to 19. This proposal was approved, providing a total of five days off for the celebration of Eid ul Adha.
