The fire department would follow suite once the ambulance service was created under the Rescue 1122 service. The Sindh government, he claims, decided to implement the rescue service in Karachi after strengthening the city’s civic infrastructure and transit options. According to the rescue plan, a quick response center would be built every 10 kilometers throughout the city.
In the meantime, a meeting convened by Sindh’s chief secretary decided to solicit the support of the Sindh police and Rangers to tackle wheat hoarding and smuggling in the province.
