Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Bold Design Revamp but S Pen Loses Key Features

With the eagerly awaited release of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra set for January 22, leaked press renders have revealed notable design updates to the flagship smartphone. According to Androidheadlines, the renders showcase a bold redesign featuring flat sides, rounder corners, and a flat display, delivering a sleek and high-end look.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra moves away from the titanium-framed, curved design of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, in favor of a flat frame that enhances user experience. This new design improves grip, minimizes accidental touches, and adds a modern aesthetic. The display has slim bezels and a selfie camera cutout consistent with earlier models, while the rear camera setup maintains its recognizable layout but introduces larger lens bumps and polished colour options for a more sophisticated appearance.

However, despite these design improvements, fans of the S Pen may be disappointed by recent leaks. Reports suggest the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s stylus will no longer feature Bluetooth connectivity, meaning functionalities like Air gesture controls and remote shutter options will be unavailable. This marks a significant hardware downgrade compared to the S Pens of previous Ultra models, which have long been a hallmark of Samsung’s flagship devices.

By combining a fresh design direction with changes to the S Pen functionality, the Galaxy S25 Ultra reflects Samsung’s shifting strategy for its premium smartphone offerings.
