Google has released its list of the most searched personalities in Pakistan for 2024. The tech giant shared rankings across six categories: cricket, how-to, recipes, movies and dramas, technology, and personalities.
According to Google’s statement, the list is based on trending searches throughout the year, analysing billions of queries worldwide. For Pakistan, 2024 brought a surprising mix of names to the forefront.

The most searched personality in the country this year was Iranian-French photographer Abbas Attar. While the exact reason for this surge remains unclear, Google Trends indicates that searches peaked towards the end of March 2024.
At that time, Google had also featured a doodle honouring Abbas Attar, which might have contributed to the increased interest.
