Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has rolled out a new winter gas schedule to maintain steady supply and pressure for households.
Starting from November 2024, this plan offers a clear timetable to help consumers manage cooking and daily needs effectively.
Under the revised plan, gas will be available during three specific periods each day: from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
These slots cater to peak times when households typically need gas for cooking and heating, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours.

SNGPL officials have emphasized that gas will be supplied at full pressure during these intervals. They noted that the adjusted schedule aligns with government guidelines to address increased demand in winter.
As temperatures drop, gas use for heating and hot water surges, especially in households relying on gas-powered boilers and heaters.
The winter months see a significant rise in consumption, driven by colder weather and shorter daylight hours.
SNGPL, which supplies gas to over 7.22 million customers across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other regions, aims to ensure that this structured schedule will help prevent shortages and meet the higher demand efficiently.
