People across Punjab are set to enjoy a long weekend as the provincial government announced consecutive holidays, including Basant, providing residents a chance to relax and celebrate the spring festival.
February 5 will be observed as Kashmir Day, followed by a provincial holiday on February 6 for Basant. The holidays will be followed by the weekend, giving citizens four days off in total.

Punjab Chief Minister said the extended break offers an opportunity for families to spend quality time together, enjoy Basant festivities, and celebrate the traditional kite-flying season responsibly.
