HBO Max Officially Launches in Pakistan

Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platform HBO Max has officially launched in 15 new countries, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Macau, and Ukraine, extending its reach across Asia and Europe.

The platform is now available in Pakistan through its website and app stores, giving local audiences access to world-renowned titles from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC Universe, Discovery, and the Wizarding World — all in one place.

Subscribers can stream hit shows such as Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin, and The Pitt. The library also features blockbuster films like Superman, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Harry Potter, and A Minecraft Movie. Reality TV favorites including Deadliest Catch and Gold Rush are available, while animated classics such as Tom and Jerry, Gumball, and Looney Tunes cater to younger viewers.

HBO Max offers two subscription plans in Pakistan:

Standard Plan – Rs800 per month or Rs5,600 annually (Full HD, two devices, 30 downloads)

Premium Plan – Rs1,100 per month or Rs7,700 annually (4K Ultra HD, four devices, 100 downloads)

Users can create up to five profiles with parental controls, and the platform supports major smart TV brands. Upcoming releases include IT: Welcome to Derry premiering October 27, alongside highly anticipated titles like Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and How to Train Your Dragon.
