Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has launched the JMEV Elight, adding another electric vehicle to Pakistan’s market. The company, which has previously introduced Riddara, Geely, and Forthing, is now entering the electric sedan category with this model.
Variants and Pricing
The Elight comes in two trims: Comfort, priced at Rs. 8,499,999, and Premium, at Rs. 9,999,999. Bookings require a 10 percent advance, and deliveries are expected within 90 days. The Premium model includes extra comfort and technology features compared to the base version.

Performance and Range
The car is powered by a 56.3 kWh battery and a 165 kW motor producing 221 horsepower. It offers an NEDC-rated range of up to 500 kilometers. Drivers can switch between Eco, Normal, and Sport modes depending on their needs.
Interior and Features
The cabin features a 14.6-inch multimedia screen, premium finishings, and advanced safety features such as multiple airbags, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera.
Charging Options
The Elight supports both AC and DC charging. A 7 kW home charger takes about 10 hours for a full charge, while DC fast charging takes the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
