Saba Qamar is no stranger to powerful performances, but her upcoming television show Case No. 9 has touched her in a way few projects ever have. Describing the experience as a journey of healing and magic, Qamar shared an emotional note on Instagram, revealing how the project transformed her both personally and professionally.
“From the moment I stepped onto the set, 7th Sky Entertainment embraced me with a kind of love and respect that moved me to tears. They didn’t just treat me like a queen; they showed it in every action, in their care, in their humanity.”
With over two decades in the entertainment industry, Qamar admitted she thought she had seen it all — until this project reminded her of what it truly means to be seen and supported. Behind the scenes, the experience was filled with raw emotions and real connections.
She reflected on moments of laughter, tears, and a deep emotional investment that gave back to her in unexpected ways. “Every single person from the crew to the cast felt like family. There was warmth in every gesture, every early call time, every late wrap. I’ve grown, I’ve learned, and above all, I’ve felt truly seen.”
Qamar credited much of the show’s magic to director Syed Wahajat Hussain, praising his vision and approach. “Incredible direction,” she wrote, calling attention to his ability to lead “with heart, precision, and deep sensitivity.” She believes his guidance brought authenticity and beauty to every scene.
She also gave heartfelt thanks to producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, whose unwavering support helped bring Case No. 9 to life. “Faith, support, and relentless dedication created the foundation for Case No. 9 to become what it is,” she wrote, commending their blend of professionalism and empathy. “The set they built wasn’t just a location, it was a world. A safe, creative, and loving world. The kind every artist dreams of working in.”
Qamar extended her gratitude to journalist and writer Shahzeb Khanzada, whose script she described as powerful, layered, and deeply sensitive. “We carried it with care, and we gave it our 100 per cent. Case No. 9 isn’t just a drama. For me, it’s a memory stitched with love and hard work. I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
She ended her note by thanking everyone involved for leaving a lasting impact on her heart. The post resonated with many, including co-star Aamina Sheikh, who commented emotionally: “Every word is true! What a journey, what an experience, unlike any other! Indeed, your words ring true for all of us 100 times over! Thank you for all that you gave and all that you are.”
Judging by the behind-the-scenes pictures and cast list — which includes Aamina Sheikh, Faysal Quraishi, Hina Khwaja Bayat, Navin Waqar, and Mirza Gohar Rasheed — Case No. 9 promises to be a gripping courtroom drama and legal thriller. But for Saba Qamar, it’s already something much more: a chapter of healing, growth, and profound connection.
