The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has opened applications for its 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa to Pakistani nationals, offering a long-term solution for frequent travellers seeking flexible entry into the country.
Originally launched a few years ago, the visa is available to citizens of all nationalities, including Pakistan. UAE immigration authorities describe it as an ideal option for those who have previously faced visa challenges.

The visa allows holders to enter the UAE multiple times over a five-year period without needing a local sponsor or host.
Under the terms of the visa, tourists can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days per visit, with the possibility of extending the stay for an additional 90 days. However, the total duration of stay within one year must not exceed 180 days.
To apply for the visa, applicants must submit the following documents:
- A passport valid for at least six months
- A recent coloured photograph
- Proof of return travel (such as a return ticket)
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or residential address)
- A six-month bank statement showing a minimum balance of $4,000 or equivalent
- Health insurance valid in the UAE
According to UAE officials, the application process is straightforward, with approval expected within 48 hours. Applications can be submitted online or through authorised visa centres.
