Separately, the Sindh government has declared December 25 and 26 as public holidays. December 25 marks the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, while December 26 has been designated as a holiday for Christian employees to celebrate Christmas.

The notification issued by the Sindh government confirmed that all government offices will remain closed on these dates.

These announcements come as the nation prepares to honour the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and celebrate the Christmas festivities.

The holidays reflect the country’s commitment to recognising its founder’s contributions and respecting the cultural and religious diversity of its citizens.
