The import of mobile-phones into Pakistan has declined by 68.29% throughout the first eight months of the current fiscal year (2022-23) compared to the same period last year, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Between July and February of this year (2022–2023), the value of imported mobile phones increased from US $1412.445 million to US $447.855 million.
The import of mobile phones fell by 76.73% in February 2023 compared to February 2022. While February 2022’s exports totaled $142.033 million and February 2023’s imports $33.054 million, respectively.

Additionally, the data reveals that imports of mobile-phones, which were valued at US $51.960 million in February 2023, decreased 36.39% from January 2023 to February 2023.
