England will visit Pakistan for a T20 series for the first time in 17 years

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that their national cricket squad will arrive in Pakistan on September 15 for series of seven T20 International matches.

The visitors will spend 17 days in Pakistan. Matches will be held from September 15 through October 2. They will next fly to Australia to compete in the T20 World Cup, which will be held there.

The England cricket team is returning to Pakistan after a 17-year absence, for a comprehensive T20 cricket series.

The ECB wants all seven matches to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants these matches to be held in Lahore, Karachi, or Multan since the venues can accommodate more fans. The dates and locations of all of these pairings have yet to be determined.

In a three-match Test series, England will also face Pakistan.
