FIFA trophy comes to Pakistan

As part of the FIFA Trophy Tour 2022, the gleaming trophy of the FIFA World Cup 2022 landed in Pakistan. The souvenir has been brought to Pakistan for the second time in four years to be seen by football fans.

Christian Karembeu, a former FIFA World Cup winner from France, walked off of a rented jet from Uzbekistan, carrying the trophy, which weighed 6.1 kilogrammes.

Hajra Khan, a legend in Pakistani women’s football, received the trophy at the Lahore airport and welcomed it to Pakistan, where it will remain for one day.

The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour brings the one-of-a-kind solid-gold FIFA World Cup Trophy to football lovers all around the globe. It’s an international tour designed to give fans a rare, up-close look at world football’s most coveted prize.

The trophy will be on display in Lahore at two separate events: one for stakeholders and partners, and the other for the general public, which will be a performance this evening.
