Govt to not allow PTI’s long march

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Tuesday that the federal cabinet has decided not to allow PTI to continue with its long march in order to prevent the spread of “fitna” and “fasad.”

The interior minister while speaking at a press conference announced the “government’s plan to keep the country out of civil conflict.”

“These people have moved from abuses to bullets. A police constable was killed in Lahore.”

The interior minister stated that the PTI leadership had assembled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was planning to “come and assault the federation” with the province’s resources and troops.

“They want to gather as a mob with no legal or constitutional standing… this is not acceptable.”

He went on to say that PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan sought to divide the country.
