Instagram influencer Nyla Raja has finally broken her silence over widespread social media speculation linking her to cricketer Imad Wasim, amid rumors of his alleged marital troubles with wife Sania Ashfaq.
In a strongly-worded statement shared on her Instagram, Raja addressed the allegations head-on, calling them “baseless” and expressing disappointment over being dragged into a deeply personal issue that, according to her, has “absolutely nothing to do” with her.

“How on earth can a simple, harmless story lead to someone’s divorce?” she questioned. She explained that the video which triggered the rumors—reportedly showing Imad walking with a woman believed to be her—was a normal, public moment captured outside a glasses store.
“Whoever recorded it chose to zoom in on just one angle,” she noted, emphasizing that others were present as well.
Raja clarified that the clip had originally been shared on her public Instagram story, with no intention to hide or mislead. She also urged followers and media to exercise mindfulness and avoid targeting women with unfounded allegations.
“At the end of the day, I’m also a woman. Please be mindful,” she wrote.
As speculation continues to swirl around Imad Wasim’s marriage, neither the cricketer nor his wife has issued a public statement. Raja’s response, however, makes it clear that she wants no part in the unfolding drama.
