Honda Pakistan is gearing up to launch its first locally assembled hybrid SUV, the HR-V e:HEV, with preparations clearly in the final stages. The vehicle was recently spotted on a car carrier, confirming earlier teasers shared by Honda on social media.
The company has already announced that test drives will begin from July 14 at 3S dealerships across Pakistan. However, an official launch date has not yet been confirmed.

Honda’s hybrid SUV will directly compete with other hybrid crossovers in the market, such as the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV, Hyundai Tucson HEV, and Haval Jolion HEV. The HR-V e:HEV is expected to offer improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions, potentially appealing to buyers concerned about rising fuel prices and environmental impact.
Notably, the term “e:HEV” is Honda’s branding for its standard hybrid electric vehicles and does not indicate a plug-in hybrid. The upcoming model marks a significant step for Honda in Pakistan’s growing hybrid segment.
While the company has not officially announced the price, sources, including PakWheels, suggest that the ex-factory price of the Honda HR-V Hybrid will be Rs. 8,999,000.
