The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, has announced teaching jobs in Qatar for Pakistani nationals. The openings are for various subjects and levels, and the deadline to apply is 7th June 2025.
Available Positions
The following teaching roles are available through this opportunity:
- English Teacher for Secondary Classes (IGCSE)
Applicants must have a 2-year Bachelor’s plus a Master’s degree, or a 4-year Bachelor’s in the same subject. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a reputable school, preferably in the British Curriculum, is required.
Vacancies: 2 - Global Citizenship Teacher (Social Studies) for Primary Classes
Candidates must hold relevant qualifications in Sociology, Archaeology, Geography, History, or Urban Planning, along with 3–5 years of experience in a reputable school following the British Curriculum.
Vacancy: 1 - Kindergarten / Homeroom Teacher
Applicants must meet the same qualification criteria and have experience in kindergarten settings, preferably with a Montessori Diploma.

Monthly Salaries
- Primary (Grades 1–6)
Master’s degree holders: 4700 QAR
Bachelor’s degree holders: 4300 QAR - Secondary (Grades 10–13)
Master’s degree holders: 4900 QAR
Bachelor’s degree holders: 4500 QAR - Kindergarten / Homeroom
Master’s degree holders: 4500 QAR
Bachelor’s degree holders: 4100 QAR

- Shared, furnished accommodation will be provided. Female teachers will stay in dedicated villas.
- Education allowance is available for children studying under recognized international boards.
- Return air ticket is offered after two years of service.
- Summer vacation salaries will be provided as per school policy.
- Free medical and end-of-service benefits are included.
- A joining ticket is provided, along with a one-way ticket at the end of the contract.
- A probation period will apply, and contracts will be confirmed based on performance.
