The Punjab School Education Department has revised its winter vacation schedule for all public and private schools across the province.
According to a notification issued on December 17, 2024, the holidays will now begin on December 23, 2024 (Monday) and continue until January 10, 2025 (Friday). Schools are set to reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Education Department has announced winter vacations for public and private schools across the province. As per the official notification, schools will observe a shorter winter break from December 21 to December 31, 2024. Educational institutions will resume classes on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Elementary and Secondary Education Department released the winter vacation schedule on December 16, 2024. The holidays are divided into two categories based on regional climate:
- Summer Zone/Plain Areas: Winter vacations will begin on December 22, 2024, and end on December 31, 2024, spanning 10 days.
- Winter Zone/Hilly and Snowy Areas: Schools in these regions will observe an extended break from December 22, 2024, to February 28, 2025, lasting over two months.
Similarly, Balochistan’s Education Department has also announced winter holidays for schools and colleges. The province has divided the schedule into two categories based on climatic conditions:
- Cold Regions: Winter vacations will begin on December 16, 2024, and continue until February 28, 2025.
- Warmer Regions: Schools in these areas will observe holidays from December 22 to December 31, 2024.
With the announcements made across all four provinces, schools in various regions will see winter breaks tailored to local climates, ensuring both convenience for students and smooth academic schedules.
