Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier flyadeal is expanding its footprint in Pakistan with the launch of twice-weekly flights between Riyadh and Lahore, beginning October 27. The new route marks the airline’s fifth destination in Pakistan within three months, reflecting its rapid regional growth strategy.
A subsidiary of the Kingdom’s national airline Saudia, flyadeal entered Pakistan’s market in August with flights to Karachi, later adding Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot. With Lahore’s inclusion, the airline will now operate 18 weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway said the airline had accelerated its Pakistan expansion in response to strong passenger demand and available aircraft capacity. He noted that the Lahore route will primarily cater to Pakistan’s 2.7 million-strong expatriate community in Saudi Arabia, serving both business and leisure travelers.
All Pakistan-bound flights will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 186 all-economy seats to ensure affordable fares and frequent service.
The expansion aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance the Kingdom’s aviation and tourism sectors. Since its launch in 2017, flyadeal has grown to a fleet of 42 aircraft, serving over 30 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and South Asia.
