Yamaha Motorcycles Production Comes to an End in Pakistan

Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited has announced it will discontinue the manufacturing of motorcycles in the country, citing a change in its business policy.

In an official statement issued Tuesday, the company thanked its customers for their support over the years. “Due to a change in our business policy, we would like to inform you that we will discontinue manufacturing motorcycles. We sincerely appreciate your long-standing support and loyalty,” the statement said.

While production will stop, Yamaha assured its customers that aftersales services will continue in line with company policy. Spare parts will remain available through YMPK-authorized dealers, with sufficient stock to meet customer requirements.

The company also confirmed that warranty services and customer support will continue under the existing warranty scheme.

“We will continue to do our utmost to support your motorcycle experience, and we are committed to serving you sincerely until the very end,” the statement added.

Yamaha’s decision marks a major development for Pakistan’s motorcycle market, where the company has maintained a loyal customer base since re-entering the country in 2015.
