Sindh police have decided to expand the faceless e-challan system to additional districts after its successful rollout in Karachi.
Inspector General Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon made the decision during a meeting at the Central Police Office, where senior police officials and representatives from the Safe City Authority reviewed the progress of digital traffic enforcement.

Officials briefed the meeting on preparations for introducing the Traffic Road Accident and Control System, known as TRACS, in more parts of the province. They reported that cameras and monitoring systems in multiple districts are ready for integration.
In the first expansion phase, authorities will introduce the e-challan system in Thatta, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Larkana. Police said the system can identify number-plate violations and other traffic offenses without requiring physical interaction between officers and motorists.
Service centers have been set up in each district, and staff training will begin soon. IG Memon directed all divisional DIGs to launch an extensive public awareness campaign before the system goes live. He emphasized that educating motorists about traffic rules, including the use of helmets, seat belts, and compliant number plates, will be critical to reducing violations.
He said Sindh Police will continue modernizing traffic enforcement and that public cooperation will determine the overall success of the digital ticketing system.
