Under the scheme, each eligible family will receive Rs3,000 per month. The programme will be rolled out district-wise, beginning with Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Jhang, DG Khan, Rawalpindi, Kasur, and Lahore. Additional districts will be included in the following months, with full coverage expected within five to six months.

The Labour Department is implementing the scheme in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and other relevant institutions. Daily monitoring will be carried out to ensure transparency, and officials have pledged zero tolerance for deductions or irregularities in disbursement.

Minister Khokhar also highlighted several other labour welfare initiatives. These include upgrading social security hospitals with new medical equipment, launching double shifts at medical facilities, and improving daycare centres across the province.

In addition, he confirmed that the Rs40,000 minimum wage policy has been implemented province-wide, aiming to provide better financial stability to workers and their families.
