Weather Department Predicts Rain and Thunderstorms Across Pakistan

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a fresh spell of thunderstorms and windstorms across northern and central parts of the country, set to begin the night of May 27 and continue through May 31 with intermittent breaks. The developing weather system could bring gusty winds, isolated heavy rain, and hailstorms to several regions.

The alert follows the entry of moist air currents across affected areas, coupled with a westerly system expected to move into northern Pakistan by May 28. As a result, various regions are bracing for potentially severe weather activity over the coming days.
