Government’s Commitment
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that maternal and child healthcare is a priority. She noted that public resources should be used to support underprivileged communities, particularly in remote areas.
“It is heartbreaking to see mothers and children suffering in hospitals. A healthy mother ensures a healthy family,” she stated.
A dedicated toll-free helpline has also been launched to assist women with healthcare guidance and support. The Punjab government aims to improve the well-being of mothers and children through both medical services and financial aid, ensuring better healthcare access for disadvantaged communities.
