According to the notification, students between the ages of 18 and 30, enrolled in institutions approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), will now be eligible for laptop loans. This initiative aims to facilitate students in acquiring the necessary digital tools for education and professional growth.

Additionally, the scheme now includes financial assistance for individuals planning to work overseas. Under this initiative, eligible candidates can apply for loans of up to Rs 1 million to cover expenses related to training, visas, and travel.

This step is expected to ease the financial burden on those seeking better employment opportunities abroad.

Rana Mashhood emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering youth by providing them with maximum opportunities. He revealed that, to date, more than Rs 186 billion in loans have been distributed under the Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme, benefiting thousands across Pakistan.
