Government Reveals Private Hajj Packages for This Year

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has started accepting bookings from private Hajj operators and their affiliates, allowing pilgrims to begin preparations for Hajj 2025. The booking period, which opened on January 10, will close on January 31, 2025.

The Ministry has outlined various Hajj packages under the private scheme, with prices ranging from Rs. 1.1 million to Rs. 2.15 million.

These packages are available on the Ministry’s official website, and pilgrims are encouraged to carefully review the details to fully understand the facilities provided.

Private organizers are required to adhere to the Facility Provision Agreement (SPA), ensuring compliance with regulations. For packages priced above Rs. 3 million, prior approval from the Hajj Policy Formulation Committee is necessary to uphold transparency and quality standards.

Furthermore, the Ministry will share information about packages exceeding Rs. 3 million with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other relevant agencies. Organizers must provide detailed data about these offerings during the approval process.

To protect against fraud, pilgrims are advised to confirm their bookings through the official website or the “Pak Hajj” mobile app. Payments should be made only through the company’s official bank accounts, and a formal agreement is required to verify the services. These steps aim to ensure a secure and smooth Hajj journey.
