For a 5-year e-passport (36 pages), the fee is set at Rs3,000 for normal and Rs15,000 for urgent issuance. For a 75-page passport, the fees rise to Rs15,500 for normal and Rs27,000 for urgent.
For 10-year e-passports (36 pages), normal issuance costs Rs13,500, while urgent processing is Rs24,750. The 75-page version is priced at Rs16,500 for normal and Rs27,000 for urgent.

For machine readable passports (MRP), the 5-year, 36-page passport has a normal fee of Rs4,500, urgent Rs7,500, and fast-track Rs13,500. The 10-year, 36-page MRP costs Rs6,700 for normal, Rs11,200 for urgent, and Rs16,200 for fast-track.
For larger options, 100-page MRPs cost Rs9,000 (normal), Rs18,000 (urgent), and Rs23,000 (fast-track) for 5 years, while the 10-year version costs Rs13,500 (normal), Rs17,000 (urgent), and Rs32,000 (fast-track).
Separate fees apply to lost passports, starting at Rs54,000 for the first loss and increasing up to Rs356,000 for the third. These revised fees are expected to streamline the passport application process.
