Survey ranks Pakistan as the world’s most caring country

A recent global survey by Ipsos has found Pakistan to be the most selfless nation globally, with Pakistanis displaying high levels of care for others.

 The survey, conducted by the Paris-based firm, highlighted that Pakistanis lead globally in prioritising the needs of others, with 80% affirming the importance of putting others’ needs before their own, surpassing the average across Islamic nations by 30 points.

Ipsos’ Global Trends survey also revealed that Pakistan remains deeply traditional, with most Pakistanis measuring success by their possessions and valuing women’s roles primarily as mothers and wives.

Nearly 80% associate success with material possessions, making Pakistan more aspirational than China, which ranked just below.

The survey found that Pakistanis hold strong to their faith, with 100% of respondents placing a high importance on religion, positioning the country among the top four globally in protecting belief systems. 

Pakistan also ranked among the highest in valuing career achievement, as shown by the cultural emphasis on professional success.

On women’s roles, Pakistan topped the list of traditionalist views, with 82% seeing women’s primary role as homemakers. 

The survey also underscored a societal emphasis on family, as nearly 80% believe that having children is a duty to society, ranking Pakistan fourth among 50 surveyed countries.
