KP to Launch ‘Taleem Card’ After Sehat Card

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is set to roll out the ‘Taleem Card’ project, starting with a pilot phase in Upper Chitral.

The decision to launch the ‘Taleem Card’ project was announced after a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, according to a release from the chief minister’s secretariat on Saturday.

CM Gandapur called the ‘Taleem Card’ a major project to help students in remote areas get quality education at top schools.

The chief minister urged quick action to gather resources and set up the project. He instructed the education and finance departments to fast-track their efforts for a timely launch.

The decision to pilot the ‘Taleem Card’ project in Upper Chitral came after Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry’s briefing, which followed his visit to the area post-glacier outburst. The chief minister asked for both immediate and long-term strategies to aid the displaced population.
