Pakistan’s passport among world’s least powerful: Henley Passport Index 2024

Pakistan’s passport ranks near the bottom of the Henley Passport Index 2024, holding the 100th position alongside Yemen out of 103 spots, just ahead of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.

This places Pakistan with one of the least favourable passports globally, a position it also held in the previous January rankings.

In contrast, Singapore maintains its top spot with a mobility score of 195, allowing its passport holders visa-free access to most destinations. France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain follow closely behind, jointly ranked second with access to 192 countries. The United Kingdom secures fourth place, offering access to 190 countries.

The Henley Passport Index, developed by London-based advisory firm Henley & Partners, tracks global travel freedoms using data from the International Air Transport Association. It includes 199 passports and spans 227 destinations worldwide.

India, Tajikistan, and Senegal share the 82nd position, with visa-free access to 58 countries, while Bahrain, Oman, and China rank 57th, 58th, and 59th, respectively.
