Government schools in Punjab will begin teaching Artificial Intelligence (AI) to students. The School Education Department plans to set up the first artificial intelligence lab at Government Kinnaird Girls High School on Empress Road in Lahore.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is set to inaugurate the artificial intelligence lab next week. A satellite internet lab was set up at Government Girls High School in Model Town earlier, and the school is now also offering artificial intelligence courses to its students.

Building on the success of the AI course, similar labs will be established in schools across other districts. The School Education Department emphasized that these initiatives aim to equip government school students with essential modern technology skills.
