PCB Announces Crucial Plan for Saim Ayub’s Recovery

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has personally stepped in to ensure swift medical attention for star cricketer Saim Ayub following his injury.

Ayub, currently in Cape Town, will be flown to London for specialised treatment under the care of top sports orthopaedic doctors.

After consulting medical experts, the PCB decided to prioritise Ayub’s recovery by arranging his treatment at one of the best hospitals in London.

Dr Mumraiz, overseeing Ayub’s case in Pakistan, has already sent his medical reports to London. Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood will accompany Ayub on the first available flight.

Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, in direct communication with Ayub, expressed his concern and assured him of full support. He described Ayub as a vital player for Pakistan cricket, calling him a “stylish and exceptional batsman.” Naqvi emphasised the importance of Ayub’s recovery ahead of the upcoming Champions Trophy.

The PCB has committed to providing all necessary resources for the cricketer’s rehabilitation. Ayub’s treatment plan has been finalised, with an appointment scheduled with specialist doctors in London. The board hopes he will return to full fitness in time for the prestigious tournament.
