Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has expanded Kia’s electrified vehicle lineup in Pakistan with the launch of the all-new Kia Sportage L Hybrid and Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). The company has also opened bookings for both models at authorized dealerships nationwide.
The launch introduces two new hybrid SUVs to the local market. The Sportage L Hybrid will be available in both Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants, while the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid becomes the latest addition to the Sorento family, joining the existing 3.5L V6 and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variants.

According to Lucky Motor Corporation, the Sportage L Hybrid combines hybrid technology with an updated design and improved driving dynamics. The availability of both FWD and AWD variants gives customers more options based on their driving preferences and requirements.
The Sorento Plug-in Hybrid offers the ability to drive on electric power while retaining the practicality of a full-size family SUV. The company said the new model combines premium comfort, advanced technology, and greater versatility, further expanding the Sorento lineup in Pakistan.
Bookings Now Open
Customers can now book the newly launched models through authorized Kia dealerships across the country. The company has announced the following partial booking amounts:
- Kia Sportage L Hybrid FWD: Rs. 2,000,000
- Kia Sportage L Hybrid AWD: Rs. 2,500,000
- Kia Sorento AWD Plug-in Hybrid: Rs. 3,000,000

Prices to Be Announced Later
The company said the final prices of the new SUVs have not been finalized and will be announced after the government provides clarity on the applicable federal sales tax.
With the launch of the Sportage L Hybrid and Sorento Plug-in Hybrid, Kia has further strengthened its presence in Pakistan’s growing hybrid vehicle market. The introduction of these models expands the company’s range of electrified SUVs and gives customers more fuel-efficient alternatives in the mid-size and premium SUV segments.
