Google has announced that students in Pakistan aged 18 and above can now access a free one-year subscription to its Gemini AI Pro Plan, offering them advanced artificial intelligence tools to support learning, research, and creativity.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the tech giant said the initiative is part of its mission to empower students through digital innovation and help them explore new ways to study and create.

The Gemini AI Pro Plan gives users access to Google’s most powerful AI model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, which supports features such as Deep Research to help with assignments, research papers, and creative projects. Gemini tools are also integrated across Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet — allowing students to summarise emails, design study materials, and analyse data efficiently.
Students will additionally gain access to NotebookLM, Google’s AI-powered research and writing assistant, along with creative tools such as Veo 3 and Flow for generating videos from text or images.
The offer also includes 2TB of cloud storage across Drive, Gmail, and Photos for securely storing notes and academic resources.
Google said the offer is now available to eligible university students across the Asia-Pacific region, including Pakistan, who can sign up online for free access for one year.
