NADRA Adds More Features to Pak-ID Mobile App

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced Version 5.0.0 of its Pak ID Mobile App, adding new features aimed at simplifying registration procedures and enhancing accessibility for citizens.

The latest update brings a redesigned dashboard, faster processing for ID card cancellation requests, and a more precise search option. To make the app more inclusive, all functions are now labeled in both English and Urdu, a step NADRA says will particularly benefit users in rural areas.

Among the new additions is an application-tracking tool integrated into the app’s inbox, along with the launch of an online death registration service in coordination with Union Councils in selected districts. Authorities have encouraged citizens to update their app to take advantage of the improvements.

Meanwhile in Karachi, Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced that NADRA service counters will soon be set up in every union council to expand public access. The initiative was shared during the opening of an upgraded NADRA registration facility at Babar Market in Landhi.

Wahab added that a feasibility study is underway for a new center in Lyari’s Kakri Ground, while large-scale “mega centers” are also being developed in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town.

Officials noted that the upgrades are part of NADRA’s wider effort to modernize its services and make registration processes more convenient across the country.
