According to Sindh Secretary for Culture Muhammad Khan Kloro, preparations for the event are nearly complete. All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the festival runs smoothly and peacefully.

The provincial government has also issued an official notification confirming the public holiday. The Minister for Culture has extended a formal invitation to Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori to inaugurate the Urs, which is among the province’s largest cultural and spiritual gatherings.

The celebrations will include Sufi music, poetry recitations, literary sessions, and special prayers, honoring Bhittai’s enduring message of love, peace, and spiritual unity.

To maintain security, all relevant departments are on high alert, and the Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad has imposed a ban on the display of weapons during the festivities.

Meanwhile, citizens are also looking forward to the national holiday on August 14 to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day, which will be observed with patriotic events across the country.
