The Lahore Board has officially released the schedule for matric exam paper rechecking. Students who wish to have their papers rechecked can apply online from the comfort of their homes until August 8.
The fee for rechecking each paper has been set at Rs. 1,200. However, if any marking errors are found during rechecking, the amount will be refunded to the applicant.

Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, stated that transparency in the examination system has ensured merit-based results, allowing students from all backgrounds to secure top positions. He claimed that 90% transparency was achieved this year and pledged to ensure 100% transparency in the next academic year. “Children of vegetable vendors and farmers are now securing top positions,” he added, highlighting his personal efforts in monitoring matric examination centers.
Lahore Board Chairman, Zaid bin Maqsood, mentioned that surveillance cameras were used to monitor exam centers and prevent cheating. Over 11,000 staff members were deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the matric exams.
Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat also remarked that the nation takes pride in the achievements of position holders, calling them the future of Pakistan. The matric results have now been made available online.
