The annual matric results for all educational boards in Punjab are set to be announced on July 24, 2025. This date was confirmed during a meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) on June 14, 2025, as reported by a private news channel.
The delay in the release of results has been attributed to the incomplete marking of examination papers, which has affected the timely processing of results across the various boards. Educational authorities are working diligently to resolve the issue and ensure that the results will be available to students by the scheduled date.

In a separate matter, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi took immediate action after students raised concerns regarding the HSSC Part-I History of Islam exam.
Several students pointed out that the questions were not aligned with their prescribed syllabus, leading the board to cancel the exam. The swift decision was made to protect the academic interests of the students.
The rescheduled History of Islam exam will now be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the first group at the same examination centers and under the same roll numbers. This decision ensures that students will have another opportunity to complete their exams fairly.
