The National Assembly of Pakistan has officially opened the application process for its Parliamentary Internship Program for Summer 2025, offering a six-week immersive experience aimed at providing students and young graduates with valuable insight into the functioning of the country’s highest legislative body.
This initiative is part of the National Assembly’s Strategic Plan (NASP), which is focused on increasing youth engagement and raising democratic awareness across Pakistan.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to legislative processes, public policy discussions, and the day-to-day activities of the National Assembly.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Minimum Education: 14 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution
- Eligible Disciplines: Law, Economics, Business Administration, Media Sciences, and more
- Minimum GPA: 2.5/4.0 or 60% marks
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Encouraged Areas: Applicants from remote regions such as Balochistan, Sindh, and others are highly encouraged to apply
