This marks Hyundai’s second hybrid offering in Pakistan following the launch of the Elantra Hybrid in October last year.
The Tucson Hybrid enters a competitive field and will directly challenge the fifth-generation hybrid Kia Sportage, which made its debut earlier this year.
The Tucson Hybrid will be offered in two variants:
- Tucson Hybrid Smart FWD (Base) – Rs. 10,999,000 (ex-factory)
- Tucson Hybrid Signature AWD (Top) – Rs. 11,999,000 (ex-factory)
Under the hood, the Tucson Hybrid features a 1.6L Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (T-GDi) Hybrid engine, delivering a combined 232 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque.
The top variant includes HTRAC All-Wheel Drive, while both versions come equipped with dual-zone climate control, 19-inch alloy wheels, memory seats, and multiple drive and terrain modes.
Hyundai’s SmartSense system brings over 20 advanced driver assistance features, while tech highlights include a head-up display, shift-by-wire transmission, and LED projection headlamps with intelligent lighting.
With bold styling and a focus on fuel efficiency and modern safety, the Tucson Hybrid looks set to make a strong impression among SUV buyers in Pakistan.
